01 · The purpose
What should this experience do?
A birthday activity, a fundraising mechanism, and a company mixer need different game counts, pacing, staffing, and calls to action. Write one primary outcome before choosing equipment.
Name the event's primary outcome in one sentence
Decide whether guests rotate casually or play in a structured window
Identify who makes final decisions about budget and venue
02 · Capacity
Count players, not just attendees.
Not every guest plays at once. Estimate the peak number who will want a seat, whether people will rotate, and whether beginners need extra dealer attention.
Record total guests and likely active players separately
Choose one focal game or several simultaneous games
Leave space for people watching and waiting without blocking service
03 · Venue
Measure the route into the room.
Floor dimensions are only part of delivery. Stairs, elevators, narrow doors, parking, loading windows, surface protection, and power can change what is practical.
Measure doors, halls, elevators, and the event footprint
Document stairs and whether delivery is street-level
Confirm parking, load-in time, and venue contact
Ask about power, Wi-Fi, lighting, and house rules
04 · Run of show
Give the games a clear beginning and end.
Decide when play opens, how guests receive play money or chips, when announcements happen, and how the evening transitions into prizes, food, speeches, or another activity.
Set arrival, instruction, play, last-call, and closing times
Assign one event contact for dealer and vendor questions
Plan a simple explanation for guests who have never played
05 · Entertainment only
Keep prizes and play rules clear.
Mr Casino Party does not offer real-money gambling. If your event includes fundraising, ticket sales, contests, or prizes, ask the venue and qualified local counsel what rules apply.
State that chips and play money have no cash value
Choose prize criteria guests can understand
Get legal guidance for jurisdiction-specific fundraising rules
